Different types of rock bolts, its transmission mechanisms, working performance, reinforcing effect and durability are different. In engineering applications, you should select the appropriate type based on strata behavior, rock bolt working conditions and years of service:
1. Permanent rock slope with large rock cavern support, should adopt high or higher long prestressed rock bolt (rope) combined with short low prestressed bolt anchorage system.
2. Rock tunnel support should actively develop the terminal with mechanical anchor pieces of hollow grouting anchor or using a piece of hard Binder (resin, cement anchoring agent) steel rock bolt.
3.Since the stability of surrounding rock with short time or having obvious mobility characteristics or under the influence of blasting vibration in mining engineering, appropriately using seam pipe rock bolt, water expansion rock bolt and other types of friction rock bolt.
4. Soft rock and soil in the slope or excavation should actively develop load-dispersed anchor system. Permanent anchor project should adopt the dispersed pressure rock bolt; temporary anchor engineering can use dispersed tensile rock bolt.
5. Anti – floating project structure, should adopt the pressure type, pressure dispersed rock bolt or under reamed rock bolt.
6.The dam body and dam foundation reinforcement engineering, appropriately using long prestressed rock bolt (rope)with high bearing capacity, large diameter, and multi-strand steel strand of the rod body.
